Our first news item is for Project EC14B Opportunites GY.
About this project.
Two events; to be organised with support from schools, colleges, training providers, employers, enterprise and voluntary sector. Event 1 (Tuesday 13th October 2009) which address routes to employment, education and training within seven strands of the newly introduced Diploma Programmes at levels 1,2 and 3.
The first event involved all the eight local high schools of the East Consortium, two local colleges, Connexions and local employer representatives.
The second event (Thursday October 22nd) addresses routes to employment, further education, training, apprenticeships, volunteering opportunities and self employment. The project leaders (EAE Norfolk Ltd), expect this event to be attended by in excess of 900 pupils, 30 public/private providers including 5 local colleges. Both events will support policies intended to reduce worklessness, increase skills and increase enterprise awareness.
