Summary:
To provide direction, policy and project management suppport to ensure the effectiveness of the Boroughwide Great Yarmouth Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership.
04-05 update
As a result of the Crime Reduction Officer & Support Officer's direct and indirect work as facilitators to the CDRP and RAG to reduce crime, burglaries were reduced by 33%, vehicle crime by 43% and break-ins to shops/businesses by 33%. The Car Clean Partnership has seen 964 vehicles taken away and destroyed within 7 days of their removal. A CDR Manager's post is now mainstream funded.
