Summary:
The Construction Industries Training Centre, run by Great Yarmouth College, seeks to address the skills gap across the construction industry and to provide self-employment training and facilities for micro-business development. The Centre has supported in excess of 140 students, as of March 2003, and anticipates that student numbers, and the range of courses on offer, will grow year on year.
The Centre is based in a large facility within Southtown that has required modification in to adapt it for training purposes ? NRF has contributed to these costs.
