Project
Summary:
Acorn (Global Grants), funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), are aimed at addressing community need. They are targeted at smaller, grass roots organisations that are unable to access mainstream European Social Funding and who benefit from a simplified system. Applications for grants come from local communities or voluntary groups who can bid for up to ?10,000 per project.
ESF for the Acorn Grants is on a matched funding basis - NRF is one of several bodies in the area contributing money to the scheme that will be matched on a pound for pound basis by the ESF.
