Summary:
To purchase equipment to support the survalliance of criminal damage, ASB and other forms of 'enviro-crime'. This equipment will utilise exisitng mobile CCTV resources and will enable staff to convertly monitor hotspots with the aim to raise awareness of these crime types, increase detections - reducing the activity and increase public confidence in the criminal / environmental services. It is envisaged that the equipment will be fully mobile and used across all NRF areas. This project will support further capital purchases put forward by the Environmental Forum to support both strands of crime reduction and inproving the local environment.
