Summary:
The GY 'Sing Up' programme is one of only 4 National Foundation for Youth Music innovative pilot schemes in the UK to engage disadvantaged young people in singing. Between January 08 and August 09 2000 young people in the GY area will be engaged in the programme.
In March 08 there will be 5 initial workshops delivered in conjunction with the Pupil Referral Unit, YMCA training and GFS platform to a group of 10 teenage boys and 17 teenage girls from NRF priority Neighbourhoods as part of programmes to reduce their criminal, risk-taking and anti-social behaviour.
