The LSP Executive consists of representatives from the four sectors - Statutory, Private, Voluntary and Community. Its role is to consider strategic/policy options and to make recommendations to the LSP Board.
The Executive meets monthly.
Senior Statutory sector representatives from the major funding agencies sit on the Executive in order to provide a route by which decisions on the use of agencies mainstream funding can be channelled effectively.
The support officers from the four major theme Forums - social, Economic, Environmental and Learning are represented on the Executive to ensure that there is two-way communication between the Forums and the Executive in order to minimise the opportunities for "silo" working to occur.
The LSP Executiveis currently chaired by the Social Director (Social Policy) at Great Yarmouth Borough Council.
