The LSP Board is made up of 12 people drawn from the four sectors of

• Public organisations (local councils, primary care trust)
• Private/Business organisations
• Voluntary organisations
• Community organisations

It is currently chaired by the Leader of Great Yarmouth Borough Council and takes the final decision on the recommendations of the LSP Executive which sits below it in the LSP structure.

The Board meets every 3 months. The Chairman is elected annually at the meeting held in May.

The job description for the post of vice-chairman of the LSP Board is currently being drafted and will be considered by the Board at the next meeting on 11th October 2005. ~It is hoped that the vice-chair can then be appointed/elected before the end of 2005.
