Community Engagement Infrastructure: Commissioning Outcomes
As a result of the recent area-based grant commissioning processes GYLSP is pleased to announce the following contracts have been awarded to further support the capacity of local communities in the borough to influence change and help deliver Great Yarmouth's Sustainable Communities Strategy until March 2011.
Successful projects are:
- Ø Neighbourhood Development Officers x 2 posts - Awarded to Voluntary Norfolk - Value £108,458
- Ø Neighbourhood Development Officer x 1 post (non-neighbourhood management) - Awarded to Community Connections- Value £54,679
- Ø Rural Development Officer x 1 post - Awarded to Norfolk Rural Community Council- Value £61,250
- Ø Stronger Communities Partnership Support - Awarded to Voluntary Norfolk and Great Yarmouth Community Trust- Value £152,250
